About the Magnetawan Retreat |
| The Magnetawan
Retreat is surrounded by the Magnetawan River Provincial Park (2½
hrs north of Toronto).
Access to the retreat is from the South branch of the Magnetawan
River.
Come stay in a private electricity-free, wood-heated cabin and explore the wilderness surroundings by foot on marked hiking trails and by canoe or rowboat on the river and private lake with the help of knowledgeable staff. Join us for all-you-can-eat, hearty, family-style meals. Optional picnic lunches for all-day canoeing and hiking expeditions are also available. Linens, canoes, rowboat, oil lamps, firewood and transportation by boat are all provided. |
