Your destination is
300 km north of Toronto.  From the Toronto area, take Highway
400 North. Go past Barrie, staying on 400 where
Highway 11 splits off. Highway 400 changes to Highway 69. Go past Parry Sound. About 1/2 hour
north of Parry Sound go through Pointe au Baril; this is the your last
chance for a restaurant etc. About 10-15 minutes north of Pointe au
Baril, there is a rest stop on the left and Harris Lake Road on the
Right. Turn down Harris Lake Road. The Public Dock is down a 250 metre
driveway, about 4 km in on the right; it is marked by a small boat
launching sign and a larger red & white sign advertising a local barge
service.To find the marina, simple go to the
end of the road. |
